Dr Lucia Roberta Russo

Dr Lucia Roberta Russo is a Chartered Member of both the British Psychological Society and the Italian Register of Psychologists of Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
Dr Russo provides psychological support to individuals and couples experiencing emotional distress and relational issues. Her objective is to offer professional guidance to those seeking coping strategies, healthier relationships, and positive life changes.
She earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Psychology from the University of Trieste, and she received comprehensive training in a wide range of mental health issues at the Mental Health Centre of Trieste, recognised by the World Health Organization as a model of best practices.
Dr Russo obtained her PhD from the Institute for Maternal and Child Health – IRCCS “Burlo Garofolo”, the leading institute in Italy for scientific research quality. There, she worked extensively with hundreds of individuals and couples navigating Medically Assisted Reproduction (Intrauterine Insemination, In Vitro Fertilization, and Donor Conception) and the transition to parenthood (pregnancy and postpartum).

Throughout her career, she has published articles in peer-reviewed journals and digital publications and has conducted Continuing Professional Development (CPD) seminars for healthcare professionals related to women’s mental health, the perinatal period, couples' relationships, and Medically Assisted Reproduction.
